YOUR MOMENT OF MUSIC AND ART WEEK 31, from Pam and Wendell

We decided that this jazzy little piece and jazzy little painting belonged together — GERSHWIN’S PRELUDE NUMBER 3 (pamelahowland.com) with BIKING ON THE VISTULA #2 (acrylic on paper, mounted on panel 7″ x 5″ wendellmyers.com). This painting was done in Warsaw, Poland in the summer of 2016, inspired by a bike ride through the very wild park along the east side of the Vistula.

Week 30 finds us in the heat of high summer — perfect for enjoying Gershwin’s sultry PRELUDE 2 “Blue Lullaby” – a sort of precursor to “Summertime.” Wendell’s painting called LOW COUNTRY SCENE (30 x 30 acrylic on canvas, 2019) is the cousin of his LOW COUNTRY GOLD, the painting featured in our YOUR MOMENT OF MUSIC AND ART Week 11. wendellmyers.com pamelahowland.com

We are having fun with the 1st of GERSHWIN’S 3 “Preludes for Piano” in combination with Wendell’s brand new painting, “Flowers in a Pot” (24 x 24 acrylic on canvas). Enjoy!
